Today we feature a band/artist whom Music-Is-Life is all about; Trading Voices. Why are we all about Trading Voices? Because Trading Voices is not only a great band, the creator Dylan Fant has his fingers in lots of other pies as well. We don’t think that an Artist needs to limit oneself to just one band. Can we say Slash anyone? Yea Slash moved on when his respective bands collapsed, so it’s a bit different but what Dylan is doing is developing art in different ways for different people and having it all under the Trading Voices umbrella. Simply Genius. Trading Voices MySpace Page says

“I (Dylan) started this project as another creative outlet for myself….an extension of my other project – JMinus. Trading Voices features multiple female vocalists, and pulls musical inspiration from many genres.
These songs are a collection of different perspectives…..stories of love, hate, and life……”

We found Trading Voices when featuring Taylour Chaneland we can’t be more impressed. This video we’ve posted is one of our favorites. Not only is it tackling a difficult topic, the vocals also have all the inflections of great band that make you think from the past. You know what we mean, you turn on the song and you are transported to a place where it’s all about the music. Think Massive Attack – Teardrop . We definitely wanted to share their music with our growing music community.
