We were thinking over the holiday season that there are so many bands, dj’s, and artists out there that don’t have an outlet for their music. Of course that’s the reasoning behind Music-Is-Life.com. So we wanted to start an ongoing series this month that helps others get known, seen and experienced. We have been developing such a following on Myspace and Facebook that we realized these artists aren’t known except for maybe their online profiles.

Here’s how we want to help. This series will give personal reviews of websites, technology, tools, items and ideas which can be used to develop a more global presence for our faithful fans and artists needing to be seen. Some of the parts will, of course, be well known (some can say overused and played out), and others not so much. All we know is that utilizing all the tools available to you will be better than just using some.

Here’s where you might ask, “What’s the difference in this series and your other series about Band and DJ goodness’s?” Well this series specifically talks about getting into the public eye, being in the public eye and becoming part of the global music conscious and the other series talks about goodies that make the job easier. See there is a difference and we want to bring it all to you!

Anyhoo check out how much the price is on iTunes for the CD, its $12.00 frakking bucks. On Amazon its even like $8.99. Now that’s a lot of money for one digital download right? Even if you just wanted the one song “Day n’ Night” you would be paying $1.29. Well here we go with the inside information. There is a site that you can download the CD for .50 cents. That’s freaking right. .50 cents for the entire CD and if you just wanted the song, its only a .05, a nickel.

The Site is Mp3Fiesta.com. It looks like a scam but let us tell you it is not. Yea you will have to sign up for an account and yea you will have to upload cash for purchases. BUT it’s legal, its for real and you save, oh what’s that.. yea like $12.00 per CD!. Of course this site only boasts 39, 444 artists now and 2,250,104 tracks. It’s still a good resource for those that want legal music. It’s so cheap that it’s even cheap enough to shy away from illegal downloads, right??!! heh
